Ernesto painted the mural, Curiosity, for Konover South’s new plaza, Miramar Park Place.
The mural features Florida wildlife, namely a Florida panther and a zebra longwing butterfly. While most often a predator, the panther is instead gazing curiously at the butterfly.
This represents south Florida’s residents and how we are curious and intrigued by the nature we see all around us. The panther and butterfly are also surrounded by native Florida flora, like the firebush and tickseed.
