Belmonte

Ernesto had the pleasure to paint for the city of Fort Lee on a building owned by a local family, the Ossos. Maria Osso asked if her late husband’s family home in Italy could be incorporated in the painting, so Ernesto included it along with a view of Belmonte, where the Ossos are originally from. He also added birds native to Italy, the like Eurasian bee eater and hoopoe along with flora like carnations and lilies.
The Business District Alliance of Fort Lee, Fort Lee Mayor Mark Sokolich, and the Osso family came out for the mural’s ribbon cutting ceremony.
